Another trip with the Ebys and Heskeths!

Day One - August 12, 2000
W
e left Oklahoma City early Saturday morning. The flight to Dallas was fine, until we got off. Our flight to Oakland had been cancelled. Luckily, we got a flight to San Jose. All-in-all, we were only delayed about an hour. After we check into Embassy Suites, we headed off to a suburb of San Francisco called Burlingame. We eat at the Steelhead Brewery. The stout and the raspberry beer were the best. Embassy Suites has free drinks from 5 to 7, so that what we did for the next two hours. We went to sleep early (haha).

Day Two - August 13, 2000
I
n the morning, we walked along the bay after breakfast. We had a little time to kill, so off to Highway One to see the ocean. What a great road. The scenery was beautiful. Passing through San Francisco, an Oakland A's game was next on our agenda. Nothing like a little baseball, hot dogs, and beer for a fun afternoon. That night we stayed at the Best Western in Petaluma, and had a cook-out at Heather's. Heather is Ty's ex-sister-in-law. Ty and Letty got to spend a lot of quality time with their niece Myrah during this visit.

Day Three - August 14, 2000
B
odega Bay was a place we visited in the morning. That is the town were Alfred Hitchcock's 'The Birds' was filmed. We ate at the restaurant were the original cafe was. Next was what we all had been waiting for, wine touring in Sonama Valley. We visited five wineries that day. After lunch at the Mexican restaurant in downtown Sonoma, I had consumed all the alcohol I needed. That night, everyone went swimming at the hotel pool.

Day Four - August 15, 2000
J
ames and I went golfing and the rest of the group we to Sea World. The golf course was great, but way to hard for me. I don't know how many balls I lost, or found. Since we were already in Napa, James and I visited some more wineries and a place that made sake. We really like St. Supery winery. The drive back to Sonoma from Napa was a blast. There was this very windy road that was fun to drive. We ate at another Mexican restaurant in Petaluma, then headed of to bed.

Day Five - August 16, 2000
